Adele T. Johnson-Davis

Adele Johnson was born in Brooklyn and lived in the Marcy Houses until she graduated from Eastern District High School at 17 years old. In 1985, she relocated to Los Angeles. Adele is a graduate of West Los Angeles Community College where she received an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the nonprofit fraternal organization, Sadie Alexander Chapter No. 63 of the Golden State Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, PHRA. She was Chapter Secretary for 12 years, served as Chairman of the Trustee Board for the Golden State Grand Chapter and also led fundraising efforts to raise money for special charities. In 2017, Adele retired after a 30 year career in the legal field. Today, she remains active by working with an adult literacy program, volunteering and learning sign language. Adele now resides in Durham, North Carolina.
